Jinchong Liu
Director
Jinchong, known by her friends as Chong, has a deep passion for early childhood education and has held the dream of opening a children's school for a long time. In order to pursue her dream, she obtained a Master's degree in Child Study and Human Development from the Eliot Pearson Department at Tufts University, and another Master of Business Administration degree from Babson College. Fortunately, she had the valuable experience of receiving training and working as a counselor and fellow at the world-renowned Eliot Pearson Lab Children's School at Tufts University. There, she had the opportunity to meet excellent experts in Child Development and was fortunate to get to know the consultants for Wisdom Tree Children's Center. They have provided her with a lot of advice and guided her in pursuing her dream. She also worked, volunteered, or visited other exceptional childcare programs such as the Temple Beth Shalom Children's Center and childcare program on Harvard campus, immersing herself in diverse educational environments.
Annie Amaru
Lead Teacher
With 20 years of experience in early childhood education, Annie is dedicated to promoting quality education in her role as Lead Teacher. She holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and Psychology, providing her with a strong foundation to support and nurture young minds. Her extensive background as an Early Childhood Program Specialist and Director of a Learning Program underscores her commitment to fostering children's development. ​

Annie places a high value on learning and play, ensuring each child's individual needs are met with a calm and understanding demeanor. She is passionate about growing and learning alongside others who share her dedication to education, continuously fostering an engaging and supportive environment for children. ​

Outside of her professional life, Annie is a devoted mother and wife, bringing the same level of care and dedication to her family as she does to her students.
Yukiko Hudgins
Teacher
Yukiko brings over 17 years of valuable experience in nurturing young children. Despite holding director certification, she remains deeply dedicated to her professional growth, continuously enrolling in a diverse range of courses to explore various educational philosophies and integrate them into her daily interactions with young learners. Yukiko is a teacher who cares about children. Her calm and positive nature brings the school inclusive and inviting atmosphere. She exhibits a keen ability to observe and understand children, effectively following their lead and fostering meaningful interactions. She will guide children to write their own story in their life. Additionally, Yukiko loves to play musical instruments, like piano, to introduce children to the enchanting world of music.
Kerri Modry-Mandell
Consultant
Dr. Kerri Modry-Mandell is a faculty member in the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child Study and Human Development at Tufts University, located in Medford, Massachusetts. Her extensive expertise lies in the fields of Pediatric Psychology and Family Studies and Human Development. We anticipate collaborating with Dr. Modry-Mandell to organize enlightening workshops designed to engage with parents/ caregivers. These workshops will serve as a platform for addressing parents’/ caregivers’ queries and enhancing parenting skills. Additionally, Dr. Modry-Mandell will contribute her expertise by providing professional development and training opportunities for our team of educators.
Lynne May Lim
Consultant
Lynne May Lim is M.A.T., early childhood education consultant/trainer. With over 30 years of experience in early childhood education as classroom teacher and administrator, Lynne May trains, coaches, and mentors experienced and novice educators in the areas of curriculum development, emergent and integrated approach to teaching and learning, science and technology/engineering for young children, and anti-bias/anti-racist education. Currently, she is a member of the administrative team at the Eliot-Pearson Children's School @ Tufts University.
